I have worked on the digital marketing/e-commerce team for Carter’s Inc. since 2014. As a senior designer, I collaborate with our art director to help manage and develop a team of 4-5 designers, leading them in conceiving and executing digital assets including, but not limited to, homepages, emails, landing pages, shops, and promotional material, within a high-velocity time frame. Other occasional responsibilities include overseeing the art direction of photo shoots, contributing concepts and creative content to new Carter’s brands, and helping plan overall seasonal creative direction.
If there is one thing outside of design work that is very important to me, it’s getting to invest in the community and city in which I am apart of. I was so ecstatic when I was considered to be brought on and help rebrand ArtsATL. They are the go to resource for all arts in and around the Atlanta area. My position on this job was to create a new wordmark and brandmark for the company. Here is an excerpt on the logo we ended up with. “While the fire-inspired icon is new, it reflects the same mission we’ve always had, of educating and informing readers about the arts, to connect audiences to artists — because we know that artists need an audience, just as a flame needs oxygen.“ They also took one of the icons I made and associated it with their Luminary Awards, which are Atlanta’s premier arts honors, celebrating the social impact, diversity, innovation, leadership and generosity of the city’s creative community.

Maverick City Music started with a dream to make space for folk that would otherwise live in their own separate worlds. To break the unspoken rules that exist in the CCM and Gospel World.
What began as a “Hey, we need a logo for a video we’re doing” turned into something much larger and wonderful than I could have expected. I was so happy to help contribute a small piece to this authentic and beautiful community.
Re-Branding Discover Church. A logo and brand style for the wilderness. The design is centered around thick bold lines, simple geometry, and carefully thought-out patterns. The nature elements are used to encapsulate what it is that makes Franklin, NC a go-to destination for visitors and residents; mountains, flora, fauna, and forests that are specific to North Carolina and the Appalachian region.

Wander Supply Co. branding and logo.
Luna Sandwich Shop is a boutique sammie joint in the heart of Sylva, NC. When owners Don and Cecilia called and asked “Hey, you wanna do the branding for a badass sandwich shop?”, I said, “Hell ya!” (it more or less went this way). So many shops in Western NC really lean into that rustic, mountain aesthetic so we really wanted to go completely opposite of that and create something vibrant, cheeky, and loose.

Managed by Zac Brooks, Dual Sport Life started out as an Instagram page where Zac posted photos of people all over the globe with their dual sport motorcycles. The account began to gain lots of traction and eventually the lifestyle brand started offering clothing, group rides, and much more to a vast community. I’ve been lucky enough to join Zac in this journey of helping elevate the brand with by art directing new products, social media posts, an online community forum, and much more!

Center for American Entrepreneurship was looking to re-brand themselves with their logo, website, and visual identity. My role in this project was centered around coming up with the new logo. One of the visual challenges was how to incorporate the American stars and stripes in the design.

Josh Stewart is a composer and musician living in Atlanta, GA. Simply put. I art direct all of his projects—album art, music videos, web design, and more--and at times assist him in producing and writing music.
This collection of brand concepts is a mixture of freelance projects I did for agencies and some I created on my own time.
A professional employer organization (PEO) offers the peace of mind that comes with the expertise of a full-service HR department and NAPEO is a company that advocates and offers resources for people looking to hire a PEO. NAPEO came to the table with a lot of different projects needing to be done; refresh their website, a digital story, marketing materials, and collateral for their annual conference. We stepped up to the challenge and established a lovely relationship with the folk at NAPEO.

Ben and Kelly, of Bread & Wine, asked if I would help them create a series of varying album artworks accompanied by lyric videos that depicted elements of the artwork. One of the things that I loved so much about this project was the collaboration between us all. When I would throw out a couple of ideas, they (usually Kelly) would come back with variations of their vision and we’d find how to meld our ideas together to make something that we loved.
Each month we would finish up each project and watch how the art and music work together and, I think I can safely say, be something we are proud of. I feel so honored to be a part of their lives and to call them friends as they make this great music together.

AARP needed some illustrations created for a microsite where they take a deep dive into how drug prices are skyrocketing and something needs to change. I gave them some preliminary drawings in the early stages which then moved into a more detailed review. After taking some time to examine the first round of illustrations, we came back together and reimagined them in a simpler way and added some light animation to them to give visual intrigue. Check out the end result!

When working with the agency, LGND, I worked in many different avenues. Logos, web content, social assets, illustrations, animations, print books, large scale graphics, the list goes on. But outside of the client's work, I helped re-shape the branding of the company and boost our marketing efforts with new graphics, animations, and other content.
